Apparently there has been an email floating around with statements about CA driving law changes. Well, most of them have ended up being fiction. Here is the truth:
- Carpool lane - 1st time $1068.50
starting 7/1/07 (The $271 posted on the highway is old). Don’t do it
again because 2nd time is going to be double. 3rd time triple, and 4th
time license suspended-Fiction!In 2007, the recommended fine for a first time car pool violation was
$380. Repeat offenders can expect to pay more, but nothing near
the amounts represented in this email.
- Incorrect lane change -
$380. Don’t cross the lane on solid lines or intersections-Fiction!
The Uniform Bail and Penalty
Schedule said $134 for a typical infraction.
- Block intersection - $485-Fiction!

- Driving on the shoulder - $450-Fiction!

My C.V. office used to be at Cafe Salotto in Eastlake, but they were closed down by creditors. Open wi-fi is very important to me, so I was glad to find out Caffe Tazza delivered the goods.

OK, so Sgt. Pepper wasn’t there, but 16 years ago today Candace and I were married here in San Diego.
What an blessing Candace has been in my life. She is a patient wife, a loving and caring mom, and devoted friend. I am grateful to God for her each and every day, and I find myself falling deeper in love with her with each passing year.

In rancho vista, worship, worship confessional
This week will be a non-video confessional. i have been swamped this week with leading music our kid’s camp, as well as getting details together for The Surfaris this weekend. If I can remember, I may have a kid’s camp confessional. 
Needless to say, busy, busy, busy. I have also been trying to secure some extra sound equipment for The Surfaris because our worship band will be sharing the stage them, and we needs lots ‘o extra stuff.
What a great week! We actually had everyone show up, and had a great time of worship! For the first time in about 2 months, I felt like I could relax, and just worship God. Whew, what a relief. Man, this has really been a time of trial in my ministry life. But it has also been a time where God has me where he wants me to be, on my face in prayer. The cool thing is that in these times I begin to find a greater intimacy in my relationship with God. I still need to find a drummer to fill a void we have right now (as well other instruments), but I am trusting God is this thing, and he never lets me down. Thank you for all your prayers, and keep it up!
I won’t bore you with all the details this week, it is enough to know my God is here!
