Goin’ Camping
We are going camping! We are making a trip to a nice campground in Valley Center near Escondido. My parents took our kids up a little early to get a head start on the fun. I had a meeting this afternoon, and rehearsal tonight, so Candace and I can’t join them until tomorrow.
We are looking forward to this little retreat because it has been quite awhile since we have made a camping trip with the family. I believe the last time, Cassandra was 3 and Matthew was less than a year old. We had a great time in Morro Bay, but it will be different this time with the kids being a little older, and able to enjoy it more.
I called my parents this afternoon, and the kids have already tried their hand at fishing. Apparently Cassandra caught a fish, but it fell off the hook when she was pulling it out of the water.
