I know many of you are happy with just using a free blog for your web presence, but If you are looking for web more hosting space at a reasonable price check out host monster. I switched over to them about 1 year ago, and I LOVE THEM! OK, the caps may be a little extreme.

I have checked out my fair share of hosts for our church site, and my personal site. I had always been disappointed in the service. I really like host monster because of their plans and service. So check it out.

My busiest day of the week always seems to be Wednesdays. First I start off taking my daughter to school at 8:45am. This is 15 minutes early, because I then have to take my son to his preschool 3 miles away that starts at 9:00am. I then rush home to quickly get as much work done as possible. At 11:45am my son finishes school, I pick him up, and rush him home to feed him lunch. By the time he eats, it is time to pick up my daughter because Wednesdays are half days at her school. After walking up and back to her school and then have to feed her lunch. I try to find something to occupy their time other than TV. Once they are settled down I can then begin to go over the songs we are doing at rehearsal that night. At 3:30pm my parents come over to watch the kids. I then take my 30-60min commute from my house in San Diego to a staff meeting at our pastors house in Chula Vista from 4:30-5:45ish. I then go to rehearsal from 6:30-8:30p. Just in time get something to eat, and get home by 9:00pm or so. Whew, I’m tired. Check out this video of my commute. I only wish it went this fast.

Jim Earp is coming to Rancho Vista Church (my church) to share some of his great music, and musicianship. I first heard Jim in 1989 when he was playing with a band called the Mooncookies while I was playing with a band called Code 7. Our bands played together at the Spirit club (now Brick By Brick) in San Diego. I was amazed at his sound and artistry. He is one of the better guitarists I have ever heard.

It is a prolific time in worship music. There are so many songwriters with different expressions of worship to God these days, it can sometimes be overwhelming to keep up with them all. I consistently check all the new releases by major publishers, indies, the internet, etc…, but it seems there are always songs that I miss.

So, I thought it would be fun to see what your favorite worship song is right now, and why. Maybe you are using something in worship now that really connects with your church. Maybe your not a worship leader, but there is a song that enables you to connect with God in a more intimate way.
