Getting ready for church tomorrow. We are gathering toys, clothes, etc.. for our Ninos De Natividad project. What a great opportunity we have to be used by God to impact kid’s lives in Mexico. I am praying for an overwhelming response. Oh… and we are having a taco stand at the wrapping party after church!
Looking forward to doing “Better Days” by the Goo Goo Dolls tomorrow. I am hoping that familiarity of the song along with it’s message will help us to jump beyond the boxes and giftwrap and discover the reality of Christmas.
Christmas is coming. Our kids have begun to count the days. 17 to be exact. It can’t come soon enough for them. Remember those days leading up to Christmas when you were a kid, and how they seemed to get longer and longer the closer you got to the big day? It has been a blessing to be able to talk with them about Christmas this year (like every year). Beyond the toys and the gifts, there is a Savior that entered our world and turned it on its ear. What an honor, thank you Lord for giving me the opportunity to share a little more of You with our kids.
