Tim Hughes is coming to Horizon Christian Fellowship in San Diego on Feb. 20 for a conference. It is a one night conference, so I am curious to see where they go with it.
I am really encouraging our team to go. The best thing, it is free!
Worship Central is a dynamic new school of worship led by Tim Hughes (Author of “Here I Am To Worship” and “Happy Day”) and colleague Al Gordon, with a vision to train and equip worship leaders, musicians and worshippers. The events include extended times of worship, teaching to inspire and equip and lots of space to go deeper with God.
“Worship Central is a fantastic resource designed to uplift and inform worship teams everywhere. You need to get along to at least one event, even if you need to swim the ocean and fly through the skies!” - Matt Redman
“We are so excited about the events in February. Worship Central is a place where, together, we look to encounter God, equip the worshipper and see all our churches empowered to worship in spirit and in truth. Bring your whole team along.” – Tim Hughes
We are soooo there!!!

I cannot believe our little Cassandra is turning 7 today. It just seems like she was a baby! What a blessing we have in both of our kids. I am grateful to God for the wonderful gifts he has given us.
Happy birthday big girl!

Really good Sunday! First service was a little light on attendance, but most of that was due to the fact that we had a after church lunch (the food was awesome by the way). I had a lot of fun. Primarily I played electric this week. Because of the songs we were doing and the layout of the set, this just made sense.
Good participation in worship. John was finishing up the last week of 30 Days To Live.
Here was our set:
All Because Of Jesus - Steve Fee
Awesome Is The Lord Most High - Chris Tomlin
I Will Overcome - Charlie Hall
Only You - David Crowder
Gone - Switchfoot
Give Us Clean Hands - Chris Tomlin (1st service)
Majestic - Lincoln Brewster
We are starting a new series called “Revolution” next week that I am really excited about. I will give you a few more details as we go through it.

Tomorrow we are having a get together at our house for our worship team. More than anything, this is a time to thank our team for all they do. I am also hoping that it will be a time where we can “hit the refresh button” on our ministry, and refocus on what God has called us to do.
This was planned as an outdoor barbeque, but I don’t know if the rain is going to hold off. If it does rain, we will just move it inside.
I am hoping to have some pictures to post so check back.

Now you would think that with a 10a Charger playoff game that nobody would be in church. I was wrong. We had a few more people in our 9:00 service, but we had a good turnout. Good participation. The band was all over it! Here is what we did:
Let The Praises Ring - Lincoln Brewster
You Are - Steve Eller
God Of Wonders - Marc Byrd & Steve Hindalong
How Great Is Our God/How Great Thou Art - Chris Tomlin
The Day Before You - Matthew West
Once Again - Matt Redman (9:00)
Holy Is The Lord - Chris Tomlin (10:30)
