Rough that you lost a drummer and cool that you had a b-option.
Have you used EZdrummer to supply loops along side of a live drummer?

Yes I have, but I process the heck out of it, and it begins to not sound like a drumkit.
EZDrummer is a great songwriting tool, and gives you a great studio drummer. I highly recommend it.
