I have been frustrated lately by youtube. From having to completely turn off commenting so that I don’t get any weird/vulgar comments, to the bad video quality, and finally getting errors when trying to upload. I am done with them (at least for now).
I am moving my videos back to blip.tv. I used them about eight months ago, and switched back to youtube because I was able to upload directly from imovie. I am most impressed with blip’s video quality (compare my worship confessional below to some of my previous posts), not as much comment abuse, and the fact that you can get to the original video easily.
The one thing I wish could do easily was import all my video from youtube into blip. I know that you can find various programs to download the Flash files, but i would like to find an easier process, as well as the ability to get the original movie file I uploaded. Maybe somebody could comment here if they have an application that will do this for me.
