Today started out with not knowing if the drummer we had sitting in was going to be there or not. We use planningcenteronline.com, and he hadn’t confirmed there, and I couldn’t get in touch with him. So I made sure I had a backup set of drums loaded on my macbook just in case I had to employ Mr. Apple on the skins. Fortunately, Chris Rios came in and did a great job this morning. He had a great meter, and held us all in the pocket. He definitely has a permanent spot on my backup drummer list!
John gave a powerful message on God’s calling on our lives. Uncomfortable and challenging. John Sparks also shared his testimony on how he walked away from God, but has now rededicated his life.
