“Experiential Worship: Encountering God With Heart, Soul, Mind, And Strength” (Bob Rognlien)
Recently I went to the Saddleback Purpose Driven Worship Conference and I was given a book that I have really enjoyed and wanted to pass along.
This book challenges us to worship God by engaging our whole heart, soul, mind and strength (Mt. 22:37). Bob Rognlien links each part of this this passage to a complete worship life.
After each chapter there are study questions, so this book could be used for a small group study as well.
I really enjoyed it and I think you will too. I wish I could buy a few hundred copies for our church!

This book is one of my favorites. I used the “heart, soul, mind, strength” language ALL the time. We live in a culture that is super into the emotional. If it’s not emotional it’s not worship. I say, “Worship with your heart first. Choose to worship with your heart and your soul will follow.”
