Fight For Peace
Power of Forgiveness
“Lord, remind me how brief my time on earth will be. Remind me that my days are numbered, and that my life is fleeing away. My life is no longer than the width of my hand. An entire lifetime is just a moment to you; human existence is but a breath.” Psalms 39:4-5 NLT
The final factor you should consider as you think through your 30 last days is how you are going to fight for peace.
Relationships are one of the most important things we have to invest in while we’re here on earth. All too often, we allow minor disagreements, petty arguments and hurtful words and actions to cause damage to our relationships. What will you do to fight for peace in your last 30 days?
Here are some ideas to get you started as you begin to fight for peace:
- Who do you need to ask for forgiveness?
- Make a list of people you need to talk with and then pick up the phone and start making amends
- Is there something you’ve always meant to tell someone but have been putting off until later?
- Write a letter
- Meet them for coffee
- What can you do to help mend a broken relationship?
- Compromise, realize life is too short to always need to be right
- Say you’re sorry
