Check out this “backward” performance of Mute Math on Jimmy Kimmel live. I know this is on a few blogs, but this was very cool, and I had to post it. My mind is still trying to wrap around how they did this technically.
It is amazing how quickly bands can be thrust into the spotlight. I was working as a volunteer at Spirit West Coast a couple of years ago, shuttling artists around, and I got to meet these guys. Wow, how quickly things change.
One the of the better known churches in San Diego has moved into its new facility in Pt. Loma. Here is an article in the UT about it.

One of the best hitters of all time, and all around classy guys, Tony Gwynn, entered the Major League Baseball Hall Of Fame today. In an era of overpaid, non-hustling, whining baseball players, Tony stands out as an example of hard work, humility, perseverance, and excellence. What a breath of fresh air.
In an effort to reach to the unchurched our church is beginning to use Facebook as a tool. What we are hoping to do is get as many of our people to begin using Facebook so that when our church announces events, posts info., it will be able to be accessed by their networks.
I have been seeing that churches like lifechurch.tv are using this method of networking, and we wanted to give it a shot. We just started putting this together yesterday, so we will see what happens.
